Elegant Themes is the author of my FAVORITE WordPress theme — Divi 4.0. Divi is the most innovative WordPress theme in the market, and it is specifically designed and developed for the non-techie. The platform uses drag and drop modules and a front-end designer, so you can see  what your site will look like as you design it. I highly recommend using Divi and a child theme to all of my clients.

Social Snap is the ULTIMATE Social Media Sharing plugin for your WordPress site; it is the most innovative social sharing plugin on the market. The plugin allows your followers to share your posts and products, and Social Snap’s add-ons will allow you to schedule your posts, boost old posts, and give you all the analytics behind your shared content! It’s a great plugin to add to any site! If you choose to get this plugin for your site, I recommend getting the license that comes with the add-ons ($99).

I have used MANY different hosting accounts before, but HostGator is my favorite. Not only is their pricing in line with the commercial brands you hear about all the time, but also their customer service is AMAZING, and the company is based in the good ol’ USA.  Most new bloggers and mompreneurs only need to sign up for HostGator’s Hatchling Plan ($4/per month).  Registering a new domain with them along with creating a hosting account is the best idea!  Keeping all your tools in the same portal helps newbies control all the necessities.

When we don’t need the extra tools of the Adobe Creative Suite, Canva is our go to design platform because of it’s quick and easy toolset. If you’re looking for a design tool that gives you a ginormous catalog of preloaded editable vector images and photography – Canva has it all!

You can easily create and share your designs to your social media right from the dashboard. Want to plan out your social calendar and preload multiple graphics – Canva now allows those with a Pro account to do so! Perfect for the busy blogger, mombie and any business looking to use social media as a way to attract business back to their site.

Dropbox – need we say more? Dropbox is an amazing cloud based storage solution to save your files and be able to share them with our clients. Tons of storage that can be accessed from all our devices no matter where we’re working.

Best of all – we can sync our Canva purchases and website backups all to our Dropbox folders. If you don’t have one yet – we highly recommend getting a PRO account with them for $99/year for over 1TB of storage.

If you have never heard of WooCommerce, then you probably haven’t been in the market for an online  shop. WooCommerce is the leading WordPress plugin for EVERYTHING eCommerce! I always recommend my clients choose themes that are WooCommerce compatible.  Their basic platform is FREE (which gets you a shop and payment service). All of their extensions are a bit costly, but they are THE BEST!  Choose from extensions like WooCommerce Subscriptions, Product Bundles, and WooCommerce Print Invoices & Packing Lists. If you’re looking to start an online SHOP, make sure you get off the ground with WooCommerce.

You may be saying, “Why do I need another social media sharing plugin?” Right? Social Warfare is an amazingly innovative plugin for a lower cost, and you can get your feet wet with their FREE plugin to test out. If you want to increase your capabilities (like customizing what you want your social shares to look like or create a hidden Pinterest graphic) —then you can pay for their Pro version for only $29 for one site.
